Front and rear covers lightly rubbed and with several creases. Foxing to outside edge of text block, but otherwise a very clean, secure copy. A considerable influence, probably, on hotel and institutional cooking in NSW. Baked rabbit, curried chops, boiled cabbage, stewed rhubarb and sago custard are typical of its untrendy fare. But there are many oldfashioned pleasures here, too; pea soup, scalloped oysters and queen pudding, for example.
